| The following projects are just a few examples of the work I was responsible for as the lead interaction designer on Yahoo! Store/Merchant Solutions.
More detailed project information is available for interview presentations.
PayPal Site Search
As part of the PayPal site redesign project, this project aimed to introduce search functionality as a way to complement the new site structure.
This project included research into search design in general and competitive analysis, as well as flowcharts (for cases where protected pages were involved), wireframes, and visual mockups. I prepared some of the content as well.
Yahoo! Store Shipping Manager
Initiated by a partnership between Yahoo! and UPS, this project included a new shipping tool area, improved versions of existing tools, promotional content, and integrated UPS features into the order processing area and checkout.
The project included extensive research, including field and usability studies, competitive analysis, flowcharts, wireframes, and mockups.
Yahoo! Store Test Drive
The Yahoo! Store Test Drive was a demonstration tool for new customers, but users experienced some difficulty while using this product. This project intended to address these problems by revamping the entire process.
I was responsible for the overall design of the new Test Drive, including reorganizing the existing steps in the process, and incorporating the results of the usability study into my work.
Yahoo! Store Site Redesign
This project aimed to improve the organization and usability of the overall Yahoo! Store web site, as well as work to increase the promotional content and guide new customers to sign up.
My work included detailed analysis of the existing site content and needs of various customers, as well as the creation of flowcharts, wireframes, and mockups.
